Adventures in Beautiful.

I believe that young people, empowered with creative means of expression, can create waves of positive change in our world. I believe that Compassionate Travel is one of the best ways to create tolerance, acceptance, and peace in a diverse world. I co-founded Workshops with Purpose to teach photographers to use their skills for social change, while simultaneously doing service work for charitable non-profit organizations in developing countries.

I have over 30 years of professional experience in travel, portrait, wedding, advertising, and humanitarian photography. In 2000, I formed Kubota Image Tools to educate and empower photographers with training, software, and coaching. I am very proud of our award-winning software, workshops, and books that have inspired and educated thousands of photographers, from all corners of the globe.

Q: Hey Kevin, what are you most proud of, not counting your kids and your awesome wife?

A: Actually, years ago at a WPPI convention I was caught completely by surprise when I was given the Monte Zucker Humanitarian Award. It is an award given to photographers for their charitable service in the world and named after a man I really admired, the late Monte Zucker. My friends who were in on the surprise had to coerce me into attending the awards ceremony with them as I was looking forward to a quiet evening just sitting in a restaurant with them instead.
