You’re Wrong, I’m Right – A Love Story

Insights on the nature of reality, with Kevin Kubota

It doesn’t necessarily take living with someone for 40 years to realize that it is audacious to think you’re always right – but it helps. The lessons learned through a long and intimate relationship can be enlightening even to those who navigate the world mostly solo. Most importantly, what we learn about ourselves, and our ability to attain true happiness, can be instrumental in our overall health and wellness. Join Kevin Kubota on a very personal exploration around the nature of our “realities”.

Join Kevin and the Unity Community this Sunday at 10 AM!

Cat & Dog Days of Summer

A Family Fun Event for All Central Oregon Families

Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This is a family-friendly event to celebrate our most popular animal companions,  our cats and dogs.
On Saturday, we’ll be showing a series of films featuring cats and dogs. Interspersed with the film, we’ll have a sing-a-long led by Victor Johnson; animal yoga; and a visit from the Humane Society. We’ll break for sandwiches midday.

Kids are invited to wear cat or dog costumes. There will be a contest to see whether cats or dogs rule to be determined by donations for the event that go into either the cat or dog jar.

The event will run roughly 10-5 (still being worked out) on Saturday and people can arrive throughout the day, at whatever time works. Registration is not required.

On Sunday, at the 10 a.m. service, we will have a blessing of the animals, with photos hung from clotheslines to represent the animals. The topic is “Do Cats & Dogs Go to Heaven?”
