Invitation to this Sunday’s service with William Gregory

Special Service with William Gregory, one of our Ministerial Candidates, followed by a community Q&A

“Finding Treasure in the Darkness” – As we go into the darkest part of the year, let us use this to our own advantage! William will be discussing practices as set out in Jungian Shadow Work. The nitty gritty side of spirituality. Sharing tools and experiences we will step into the importance of this work and find the courage to to heal and clear out our own baggage. So that we may walk this world in personal sovereignty.

After Service Brunch – Please Bring Something to Share

Everyone is invited to enjoy some food and coffee after the service, then come back in to the sanctuary for a Q&A with William re the possibility of him becoming our next minister. Bring a favorite snack to share with the community after service! We’ll provide the coffee and tea ☕️.

We always have a beautiful potluck of munchies to enjoy after service, but we’ve only had a few items to share lately, so please bring something if you can 😊. A box of crackers or some cheese works great. We hope you have time to stay and connect.

🌈 Childcare and activities are available for children 0 through 12 years. Parents – Be sure your kiddos have warm jackets for outside playtime. 😁

This week’s topic is: Seeing Faith

Keeping It Real Midweek Service

Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 PM

This Week: Finding Treasure in the Darkness: Jungian Shadow Work Talk by William Gregory

This week William Gregory invites us into a deep and healing exploration of the shadow — the unseen parts of ourselves that quietly shape our lives. Through the lens of Jungian Shadow Work, we’ll discover how facing our inner darkness with compassion reveals the gold within. Join us for a reflective evening of music, meditation, and message. (No childcare available at this time)

Be Sure to Fill Out Your Feedback Forms for Our Ministerial Candidates!

Feedback forms (one for each candidate) need to be filled out for your opinion to count!

Your participation is incredibly valuable in the selection of our new Senior Minister. Matthew Laughton spoke last Sunday, and William Gregory will be speaking this Sunday. Videos of the services will be available in our Video Library 1 day after the service.

Next steps in the process:
  • The Search Committee has interviewed each candidate and will introduce them to the board.
  • Each candidate will give a Sunday talk, followed by a Community Q&A session — everyone is warmly encouraged to attend and participate.
  • After each talk, a feedback form will be available for community members to share their thoughts and impressions.
  • The Search Committee will review all feedback and present its findings to the Board.
Final Step:

The Board will consider the Search Committee’s report and the community’s feedback before deciding on our next minister.

Dale and Leslie DiRe on an adventure!

Member Appreciation

Leslie DiRe

Leslie has been a community member for many years, quietly volunteering in the background to handle one of our very important tasks: being the front-line responder to all of our email inquiries from our website. She has a beautiful way of handling the wide variety of questions with kindness, grace, respect, and a deep understanding of our Unity community principles and intention.

Leslie and her partner Dale travel quite a bit visiting their many children and grandchildren, but she always remains committed to her volunteer gift to our community. We love you Leslie and appreciate the humble grace with which you handle our guests!
