Christmas Eve Services: December 24th at 5:00 & 7:00 PM
(only the 7:00 PM service will be live streamed)
Christmas Eve –
A Revolutionary Moment Outside of Time
With Rev. Jane Hiatt & a cast of characters
On this night we celebrate the sacred moment, once upon a time, when the Breath of Life expresses in a child, the baby we each have been, come to bless the world with love unbounded and to access our incredible innate power to revolutionize the world in alignment with the highest truth. Join us for carols, candle lighting, and message!
Both services will feature carols, community candle lighting, and a 12 Powers Candle Light ceremony. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends for a taste of the spiritual sweetness at our Wild Soul Sanctuary.
5:00 PM Service – Meant particularly for the families of our younger kids who need to get home early for Santa, but everyone is welcome. We will have a procession of children bringing the light. This service will not be live-streamed.
7:00 PM Service – This service will include a meditation and a slightly longer talk and will also be available as a live-stream on Zoom.

We Need Volunteers for the Christmas Eve Services!
We are looking for greeters to welcome people to service, kitchen help after service, and Rev. Jane needs a few additional readers and candle lighters for the 7:00 PM service. If you can do any or all of the above please contact Clare Kubota. Thank you!

We are Looking for Some New Board Members
We have a board member whose term is ending and a couple others who are required to step down because one will soon be official minister and the other will be a LUT (licensed Unity teacher). We are so excited for them!! If you are interested in learning more about what’s involved in this commitment contact Clare Kubota and she can get your questions answered. We have an amazing board and it is a beautiful way to contribute your talents to our community.

Member Appreciation 🦴
This week is going to the dogs, or should I say dog 🦮? I’m talking about Zeke, the unofficial Unity mascot and SolShine singer, Eric Troup’s, dedicated guide dog. He was looking especially cute last Sunday in his Christmas collar, however, he doesn’t seem as excited by Eric’s singing as we were. Zeke, you make everyone smile, and we love having you as part of our Unity family.
Know Someone Who Needs Some Advice From a Tree, a Hummingbird, or Sasquatch?
Stocking stuffer gifts are available at Unity! We have fun magnets, bookmarks, and cards from Advice for Life on display and for sale at the sanctuary. They are perfect stocking stuffers! Be sure to check them out in the foyer. Stock is getting low, so get them before they are gone. All proceeds go to support our Unity community.
Help Us Bring the Winter Season to our Community Altar
We are about to enter the season of winter. The snow outside is telling us it’s already here! The altar at the back of our sanctuary is a place we’ve created to flow with the seasons. If you currently have something on the altar please swap it out with something for the new season. Help us bring in some fresh new energy for this season of colder weather and longer nights.
Spirit Group Community Service
Last week The Artist’s Way Spirit Group volunteered at Mt. Bachelor Assisted Living’s holiday party. Every Spirit Group finishes by doing some type of community service. This group felt called to do something with seniors. A few from our group weren’t able to make the event, but they were there in spirit. Thank you Donna Benjamin, Ande Cardwell, Chris Tippets, Clare Kubota, Jillie Nishball, Jen Acorn, and Anna Naguris for an amazing Spirit Group. More Spirit Group opportunities will be coming early next year. Learn more about Spirit Groups HERE.

A Christmas Message From Eric Butterworth
“The true Christmas, … the Christmas of the inner self, deals with giving oneself which actually involves a giving way to our greater potential. It’s a kind of birth of the Christ in the manger of consciousness. A commitment to the continued unfoldment of the greater possibilities of our nature.”
