Sunday Service: February 8th at 10:00 AM

Plugged In or Tuned Out? — Media, Screens, and the Cost of Constant Connection

with William Gregory

This Sunday, William Gregory explores our modern relationship with media—phones, screens, and the endless stream of content competing for our attention. Together we’ll look at how constant stimulation shapes our habits, our nervous systems, and our capacity for presence, intimacy, and meaning. Is media serving our well-being… or quietly shaping us in ways we haven’t examined? Join us for a grounded, thoughtful conversation about balance, awareness, and conscious choice in a plugged-in world.

TalkAbout Discussion – After service enjoy some coffee and snacks then join the TalkAbout discussion circle with the speaker to share your thoughts and ask questions related to the talk topic.

🌈 Childcare and activities are available for children 0 through 12 years. Parents – Be sure your kiddos have warm jackets for outside playtime. 😁

“Surrendering to your sorrow has the power to heal the deepest of wounds”

  • Sobonfu Some-

In life it is necessary to grieve those things that no longer serve us in order to let them go. Grief is a common human emotion that impacts us all. It can come to us through divorce, illness, loss of dreams, conflict, death, change and so much more. Grief is an invitation to feel. It invites us to come into the body to shed light on those things that are ready to be released in order to heal. Because of this, we must have ways to move our pain. Grief needs to be regularly felt and released or it begins to smother our joy, creativity, and our ability to connect with our self and others.

The Rock of Consciousness

Friday, February 13th from 6:00 – 7:30 PM

The Rock of Consciousness Cat Steven’s Moonshadow Mysticism is a tribute to the legendary music and messaging of Cat Stevens. Cat Stevens’ music carried a rare depth of consciousness, blending introspection, spirituality, and social awareness. Through songs like “Wild World,” “Father and Son,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Peace Train,” and “Moonshadow,” he invited listeners inward, questioned modern life, and offered compassion as guidance—helping a generation reconnect with meaning, reflection, and the possibility of personal and collective transformation.

These classics and others are set to energizing movement, breathwork and stillness to open up to a deeper state of awareness. This opened state is then carried into a Dreamstate Soundbath for deep relaxation and reset.

No experience needed. All body types and belief systems welcome.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket and eye cover for maximum comfort.

Member Appreciation

Tumalo Ted is one of those quiet blessings in our community — a kind, warm-hearted elder whose presence carries steadiness, humor, and genuine care. Ted embodies the spirit of welcome through simple acts of friendliness, thoughtful conversation, and an unmistakable love for people.

He brings a grounded, gentle energy to the congregation, reminding us that community isn’t built through grand gestures alone, but through consistency, kindness, and showing up with an open heart. We’re grateful for Ted, for his wisdom, and for the warmth he brings just by being himself.

If you see Tumalo Ted around, don’t hesitate to say hello — chances are you’ll leave the conversation smiling.
