Sunday Service: February 12th at 10:00 AM
What’s LOVE Got To Do With It?
With Cylvia Hayes
Love is a word and concept that gets thrown around a lot – I love sleep, I love chocolate, I love dogs. It’s also the term we use to express deep feelings to our loved ones and those types of feelings are indeed some of the greatest gifts of these human lives.
However, the power of love as a universal, spiritual principle goes far beyond individual relationships and personal feelings of affection. Love as spiritual power is a unifying, harmonizing force that can deliver miracles and heal our world. The spiritual power of love can end wars and repair the seemingly irreparable. As we develop the power of love within ourselves, our sense of Oneness expands. Heck, you may even come to find that you are a biophiliac, but you’ll have to attend Sunday’s talk to find out.
Bring a snack to share at our after service buffet 😁

We hope you’ll join us! This meeting will be live-streamed for those that can’t make it in-person.

An Evening of Poetry
Saturday, February 25th at 5:30PM at Unity
Donna Benjamin and William Gregory co-host this celebration of poetry. Come out to share your poetry or spoken word in a supportive open mic environment. This event is a fun way to witness each other’s creativity and build community. Suggested theme is “It’s Almost Spring.” No experience necessary. All are welcome to participate or just watch. The event is free but love offerings are encouraged.

Who Would You Like Unity to Donate to in 2023?
Each year our Unity Community votes for four local non-profits to donate a percentage of our income to, one each quarter. You’ve heard us share from the stage or in one of Rev. Jane’s prosperity classes that when we give we acknowledge that we live in abundance. By donating a portion of the Unity income we are living that belief. The way we decide what organizations to donate to is by asking our community, that means you, to send in your non-profit recommendations. We then share those recommendations at the Annual meeting (see above) and vote to see what organizations get the most support. You can see who we’ve donated to in recent years HERE. Send your nominations to Clare Kubota.

Member Appreciation
This week we’d like to give a shout out to the one and only Grace Finch!! Grace is our amazing nursery teacher and caregiver. This young woman LOVES kids. She has a gift for knowing how to connect with little ones. In addition to working in the Unity nursery she is also a swim instructor at Juniper, and a senior at Bend High. She has been raised in our Unity community and we couldn’t be more proud of how she lives the Unity principles in her daily life. She’ll be leaving this fall for college to begin her studies to become a Special Education teacher, but we know she’ll be back to visit every chance she gets. We are so blessed to have you as part of our Unity family Grace. Thank you for always being a shining light!! 🥰🥰
