Grief is an invitation to feel. It invites us to come into the body to shed light on those things that are ready to be released in order to heal. Because of this, we must have ways to move our pain. Grief needs to be regularly felt and released or it begins to smother our joy, creativity, and our ability to connect with our self and others. This ceremony will be hosted by three trained guides and begins Thursday evening, runs all day Friday, and until 2:00 PM on Saturday. Unity members receive special pricing.

Member Appreciation
This week we are appreciating our Earth Care Team. This group is led by Cylvia Hayes and is open to anyone who has an interest in helping Unity bring to life the part of our mission statement that says “create a global ecosystem of Unity”. The current team members have been hard at work organizing an upcoming movie night, planning the Unity Earth Day Fair booth, and informing our members about local volunteer opportunities. Unity member and Earth Care team member, Anne-Marie Eklund, who is also a middle school teacher at Cascades Academy took 50 students to participate in the youth climate march last Friday. Go Anne-Marie!! Thank you Earth Care team for volunteering your time to support our community in a beautiful way. If you’d like to learn more about the Earth Care team you can email Cylvia Hayes HERE.

What Happened Last Week at Unity?
We had some wonderful volunteers decorating and organizing this week. Genesis Ilada took down the winter decor so you’ll all be welcomed by spring this Sunday. Eric and Diane Moyerman brought their organizational talents to the kitchen and office. Thank you Eric, Diane, and Genesis for the hours you spent making our space beautiful!! We also had a full stage with more SolShine performers starting our Sunday service chants. It was so fun to see all that energy on stage!
