Father’s Day Panel – Our Father, Who Art in YOU

A panel of fathers who range from fathering young children to young men to adults with children of their own will talk about the spiritual path of fatherhood—the challenges and the grace. The lessons learned benefit everyone, not just those that are fathers!

Special guest musician Pete Kartsounes!

Pete is a truly limitless artist and a craftsman, whose songwriting draws from a myriad of musical traditions. Writing ballads, blues, jazz, bluegrass, folk, and compositions that defy definition, he is best described as a story teller, weaving a tale through a soulful musical journey. We are so excited to have him return to play for us this Sunday.

Little Ones – The nursery is open for little ones up to 4 years old.

Elementary aged kids – Crafts, games, and sharing 😎

Healing & Wholeness – Using the Teachings of Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters

Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Zoom for 6 weeks beginning June 21st

Myrtle Filmore and her husband, Charles, founded Unity. This class will take a dive into her methods of understanding the body, her teaching of effectively using prayer, and her system of three-fold healing. Taught by member Theresa Krieger.

Spirit Group Starting – Relationship Stewardship

Leia Napoli will host this group at her home each Tuesday at 6:30 PM beginning June 27th.

Based on the book Parent Effectiveness Training by Thomas Gordon, this group focuses on re-inhabiting our relationships by adjusting how we think about each other, our “problems” and how we communicate. Even though the title of the book is Parent Effectiveness this group is open to all who want to learn to cultivate beautiful relationships with anyone. Open to 6 people and you don’t need to be a Unity member to join.

A Course In Miracles Study Group

Thursday, June 15th at 5:30 PM with Rev. Cylvia Hayes at Unity

This is a gathering to discuss the wisdom in A Course in Miracles. Each session will include a talk on a key Course teaching and then open Q and A and discussion. This week they’ll be exploring concepts such as sacrificing specialness or sacrificing Oneness, personality and actual true identity, and healing collective consciousness. Perfect for people with a lot of experience with the Course and those who are just starting out or curious. Free to join and love offerings are appreciated. This group meets the third Thursday of every month.

Rafe’s intention with his music is to inspire a vision of a world in harmony and unity, celebrating diversity, sustainability, and equality for all beings. Sometimes a simple song is all it takes to open a connection. You will not want to miss this service!

Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound!

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is June 19th.

Member Appreciation

This week we give a big thank you to Karen Hall. You will often see Karen volunteering in the kitchen on Sundays. She is one of the last to leave on Sundays because of all the extra clean up she does. Karen is part of the Women’s Group hike every Wednesday, regularly participates in Spirit Groups, and loves to go walking with others looking for a walking partner, as long as she can bring her friendly dog Nika. Ask her to share one of her incredible stories of being part of a Quaker group in New York that worked with prisoners. She is most of all a lover of Peace & Kindness 💜☮️. Karen we are so fortunate to have you and the loving energy you share as part of our Unity family.
