Voice as our Spiritual Ally

with Very Special Guest Rafe Pearlman

Rafe Pearlman is a performer, composer and creative vocal coach. He started his singing career with the wolves, ravens and sled dogs of the Alaskan wilderness. The wild nature of his exploratory singing has led to performances spanning the globe.

Rafe’s intention with his music is to inspire a vision of a world in harmony and unity, celebrating diversity, sustainability, and equality for all beings. Sometimes a simple song is all it takes to open a connection.

Rafe will share how he uses his VOICE as an instrument of Divine Communion with Spirit. Our voice is one of our primary alchemical tools for communion with God, Spirit, Source, Self. Rafe will share stories, explore sound, using voice in a communal, and lead us in improvisation and exploratory ways to open our natural voices.

Youth Programs

Little Ones – The nursery is open for little ones up to 4 years old.

Elementary aged kids – Crafts, games, and sharing 🌻

Healing & Wholeness – Using the Teachings of Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters – Begins Today!!

Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Zoom for 6 weeks beginning June 21st

Myrtle Filmore and her husband, Charles, founded Unity. This class will take a dive into her methods of understanding the body, her teaching of effectively using prayer, and her system of three-fold healing. Taught by member Theresa Krieger.

Spirit Group Starting – Relationship Stewardship

Tuesday at 6:30 PM beginning June 27th. Leia Napoli will host this group at her home each

Based on the book Parent Effectiveness Training by Thomas Gordon, this group focuses on re-inhabiting our relationships by adjusting how we think about each other, our “problems” and how we communicate. Even though the title of the book is Parent Effectiveness this group is open to all who want to learn to cultivate beautiful relationships with anyone. Open to 6 people and you don’t need to be a Unity member to join.

Concert with Rafe Pearlman

Friday, June 30th at 7:30 PM at Unity

The Friday following his talk at our Sunday service Rafe will be doing a concert. All are welcome, so invite your friends! Tickets are $15-$40 sliding scale.

Meditation & Heart Share

2nd & 4th Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM

Member Sarah Jones believes deeply in supporting others in connecting to their inner guide and creating a safe, loving space for people to share. A couple months ago she offered to lead a bi-weekly group to do just that. All levels of meditators are welcome. Come see what the stillness and support open up for you.

Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound!

Please pay at the door: $15-$25 sliding scale

Open Singing Night

Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Unity

Join our SolShine music director, Dave Finch for some fun singing time. No experience necessary and all ages are welcome! You’re then welcome to join SolShine on stage Sunday if you’d like. Contact Dave for more info.

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is July 3rd.

Member Appreciation

This week we need to do a big shout out to Dan Stephenson. You may recognize him as one of the Father’s Day talk speakers. He, Kevin, Jim, and William all shared beautiful stories. If you missed it you can watch it on our website on the Video Library page. However, we are recognizing Dan for so much more than his share on Sunday. He and his family have taken on caring for our garden this year, he has painted and repaired areas of our building that desperately needed help, donated and installed the new Peace Pole flags, built our new sign so we are visible to all the cars going through the roundabout, rebuilt the steps to labyrinth, done weed dump runs, the list goes on and on. AND he runs the Men’s Group! He loves our Unity Community and wants to be sure anyone who is seeking a positive message knows about us and that we have a beautiful space to welcome them. Thank you Dan! You are a blessing to our community 🙏🏽👏🏽🥳.
