Poetry Open Mic hosted by Donna Benjamin

Celebrate Summer 2023 with an evening of poetry. Bring your originals, recite a written poem or just observe. This monthly event showcases your talents in a fun and supportive environment. If time allows, host Donna Benjamin will offer some fun prompts for improvised pieces. Free; love offering welcome.

Infinite Possibilities Workshop Series

4 Mondays beginning July 10th at 6:00 PM on Zoom with Rev. Tamera Schmidt

Sunday Celebration Service at The Hayshed!

Sunday, July 16th at 10:00 AM

Service will be outside this day with a beautiful talk by Rev. Jane and music by the local band Lighterlights – a fun alternative folk cover band featuring Annie & Chris Tappouni from our Unity family. Following service we’ll have more music and dancing with Lighterlights, a BBQ, and fun family activities! Bring your camp chairs, something to BBQ and an app to share. Drinks will be provided. Plan to stay through the afternoon. Address – 65215 Hunnell Road.

Unity Camping Weekend at Tumalo State Park

August 4th & 5th

Come join us for a fun community weekend camping by the river! We have reserved one of the group sites at Tumalo park which allows for 25 individuals. Sorry, no RV’s, just tents. Reserve your spot soon! Don’t want to camp? Then just join us for the day. All are welcome!

Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound!

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is July 3rd.

Member Appreciation

This week we’d like to thank member chef Al Chase. Al has been a member of our community for about 5 years now and has an extensive background as a vegan chef. He is also the partner of Donna Benjamin who you see regularly as part of our band SolShine and hosting the monthly Poetry Open Mics. For the past few weeks Al has been arriving early to prepare beautiful platters of vegan snacks for us all to enjoy after service. Thank you so very much Al. Your delicious snacks and time are appreciated!! 🙏🏽💕 Al loves sharing his Lakota wisdom, and chef background so be sure to ask him to share some favorite stories 😁. We are grateful to have you as part of our Unity family Al!
