This week only, we are broadcasting LIVE from The Hayshed, an outdoor venue in Bend. We’ll have our regular Sunday Service there, with special guest musicians, The Lighterlights!

Talk: What does it mean to be rich? If you were offered riches beyond your wildest dreams, what would that mean for you? Can all of us be rich? Or, for some of us, is it true (as my Dad would say) “It’s just not in the cards?” Are we meant to be satisfied with spiritual riches?

Don’t Forget!! July 16th Sunday Service will be at The Hayshed! Here are the details:

Where: 65125 Hunnell Rd. Bend (between Bend and Redmond)

When: Our regular start time of 10am until early afternoon.

What: Sunday Celebration service followed by live music, a BBQ, water and lawn games, and social time!

Who: You!

What to bring: Chair for yourself and an extra if you have one or a couple, a side dish to share with serving utensils, and your own cup so we don’t have to use plastic ones.

Other items needed: If you have any of these items please email Clare at – Large cooler, canopy tent approx. 10’x10’, BBQ

Youth Programs

Little Ones – Grace will be available to watch little ones at The Hayshed.

Elementary aged kids – Water and lawn games, so bring your swimsuit! 🌻

Teens – If you have a teen who would enjoy connecting with other teens in a safe space to have fun, be heard, and supported with compassion contact our teen group lead, Sarah Hood at 925-788-2504.

Concert – Welcome Chad Wilkins & Gabrielle from Australia

Thursday, July 13th at 7:00 PM at Unity

A live concert with singer/songwriter Chad Wilkins and Gabrielle Euphoria on their NW/SW tour from Australia. They perform beautiful songs and harmonies and create inspiring mantra heart songs that reveal a better way for these transitional times on the planet. Come fill your spirit with inspiring music. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Poetry Open Mic

Saturday, July 15th at 6:30 PM at Unity

A fun, safe place to share your poems or other writings. Don’t be shy, host Donna Benjamin welcomes all creative writers. This is a beautiful way to ignite that creative spark within all of us! Don’t have a personal writing to share right now? Read one from your favorite poet/writer, or just listen and support the presenters. This event is free, but love offerings are welcome.

Unity Camping Weekend at Tumalo State Park

Come join us for a fun community weekend camping by the river! We have reserved one of the group sites at Tumalo park which allows for 25 individuals. Sorry, no RV’s, just tents. Reserve your spot now! Don’t want to camp? Then just join us for the day. All are welcome!

We Could Use Your Financial Support

We are a growing spiritual community! We are welcoming new visitors each Sunday, we are offering more classes and events than ever – spirit groups, campouts, concerts, guest speakers and musicians, poetry nights, dances, study groups, etc., and many of you are contributing your time in volunteer positions. What an amazing community we have!! This ask is for some financial support to help us keep our community thriving so we can continue to fund the wonderful things already happening and more special events in the future. If you are currently not donating to Unity, we’d like you to think about what it would feel like to contribute just $25/month. Does that feel doable? Find an amount that feels right for you. This support would be so valuable in keeping our finances healthy. Our society tends to push us into a mindset of scarcity, but we also know the value of contributing what you can to the things you support. If you feel inspired to support Unity in this way we encourage you to do so, and your help would be very much appreciated!

The Amazing Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound! All are welcome, so invite your friends 😁🌈.

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is July 17th.

A Course In Miracles Study Group

Third Thursday of every month at 5:30pm at Unity

The next gathering is July 20th. This group is hosted by Rev. Cylvia Hayes and open to everyone.

Member Appreciation

This week we’d like to appreciate LEN Meserve. Some of you may know this incredibly creative man as the one who designed our labyrinth. Lately, he has been hard at work keeping our labyrinth weed-free and beautiful, and building shade covers for the plants in our garden. LEN is a truly creative spirit who has been on the cutting edge of environmentally responsible building and sacred geometry for decades. Age is not slowing him down, we actually think he’s like those fine wines you hear about and getting better with age 😁🍷. Ask him to share stories about his past work and experiences. Thank you for all you do LEN, we are so grateful for all the ways you add to our community.
