Finding Ways to Thrive Regardless of the Economic News, a Workshop with Rev. Ruth

Saturday, July 19th from 10:00 AM to Noon

Rev. Ruth will explain some of the differences between what “they” say about the economy and what’s real, then offers guidelines—based on theory and actual experiences—for communities and households to thrive, regardless. A presentation and dialogue will be offered. This is a free workshop, but donations for Unity are welcome.

An Afternoon of Divine Healing

Come learn and experience alternative healing modalities from Healers in our Unity community and beyond. All services are offered for a donation that works for you. All are welcome.

Unbroken Voices: Stories Beyond the Silence – An Evening of Storytelling

Friday, July 18th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM

This event is hosted by Ellipse Theater Community. They have invited everyday individuals to share their personal journeys of losing—and reclaiming—their voices amid physical, emotional, psychological, or societal challenges – and found it again! Suggested donation is $20.

The Path from Teams to Presence Leadership Workshop

Unity Men’s Group Elks Baseball Outing

Sunday, July 20th at 4:30 PM at Vince Genna Stadium in Bend

This outing is being hosted by the Unity Men’s Group. Come join other men of all ages in our community at this fun social outing. The Bend Elks will be playing the Cowlitz Black Bears of Longview, WA. There are a few free tickets available to anyone who would appreciate one.

Sunday Sound Bath

Sundays from 6:00 to 7:15 PM

Donna will be leading this week. A space where stillness, breath, and sacred sound weave together to soothe your nervous system and open your heart. This is a beautiful, self-care experience. Wear comfy clothing, bring a mat, pillow, and blanket and soak in the sounds and vibrations of the crystal bowls, flute, and chimes. All are welcome. Cost for Unity members is on a sliding scale of $15 to $25.

Men’s Group Meeting

Monday, July 21st at 6:00 PM

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and all are welcome.

🧘🏽Yoga with Shriman is Back!🧘🏼‍♂️

Every Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM

We are so fortunate to have such a well-versed yoga instructor as a member of our community. Through his teachings, Shriman empowers participants to embark on their unique paths toward physical, emotional, and mental well-being. His classes are an invitation to connect with your inner joy, embrace your true nature, and live in harmony with the world around you. There is no set cost but a suggested donation of $15 – $20 to be shared between Shriman and Unity is very much appreciated. This is an all levels class.

Let’s Get Metaphysical Discussion Group

Every Tuesday from 10:30 AM to Noon

This group meets weekly and anyone is welcome at any time. We will start with a discussion of the video link below. No prior registration required for this FREE group. Jim and Joanne Pasmore will be your hosts.

Have You Asked Yourself or Someone These Deep Questions?

At this past Sunday’s talk Kate talked about Soul Contracts, what they are, and how reflecting on them can deepen your Spiritual journey. She shared 5 questions to ask yourself and perhaps others – 1. What do you feel your soul agreed to experience in this lifetime? 2. What experiences have served as initiations on your path of awakening? 3. Where in your life are you being asked to surrender more deeply? 4. What patterns or beliefs are you currently being called to release? 5. What helps you reconnect with your divine essence in everyday life? Maybe take some time this week to journal your answers, go for a walk with a friend and share your answers, or discuss how these questions resonate with you during dinner with your partner.

We are currently working on creating our Fall schedule at Unity. If you have an idea for a class to teach, group to start, event or spirit group to host, or know someone interested in renting our space, please submit your request by the end of July.

Member Appreciation

This week we’d like to appreciate our beautiful member Kate Cavanaugh. Kate has been doing regular Sunday talks for the past few months, and she also leads the monthly Women’s Drum Circle. Her energy and voice have been so well received by our community, and because of her connection with so many women in Central Oregon, some of those women are now coming to our Sunday services. Kate, thank you so much for your deep shares and teachings on Sundays. Formulating Sunday talks is no small task, and we are so grateful for your time, energy, love, and support of our Community.
