Gratitude to Dr. Rev. Ruth Miller

If you attended service last Sunday, you heard Rev. Ruth announce that her contract with us as interim minister is complete, and going forward she will be available as a consultant to offer advice and expertise to the Board and to our teams. Ruth’s role was to support our Unity family as we prepare for our new minister after Rev Jane’s retirement. She helped the Board design our new team structure and she spent many hours meeting with groups and individuals to support us through our changes. She taught workshops on leadership, prosperity, prayer, Unity basics, and more. She helped lead Town Hall meetings, and she was our Sunday speaker once a month. Most importantly, she gave her Love and spiritual substance to our community, sharing her passion for supporting others in their spiritual growth. Rev Ruth shared how much she has enjoyed being part of our community and we want to express our deep gratitude for her time, love, and wisdom. We are comforted knowing that she is just a phone call or mountain range drive away. Transitions are rarely easy or smooth and her beautiful support has been a gift to us all. Thank you, Rev Ruth!

EarthCare Group Gathering – Backyard Gardens is this Months Topic

Friday, July 25th at 6:00 PM

How does your garden grow ? Let’s get together this week and check in about our gardens, bring pics and we can share tips and tricks. If you don’t have your own, no worries come and have fun with us anyway. Maybe you’ll be inspired or recruited to work in someone else’s garden!

All are welcome to this monthly gathering at Unity to share and connect over topics related to supporting the environment and our planet home. Bring something to snack on while sharing gardening tips and ideas.

Family Kitchen Volunteering

Saturday, July 26th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

We join together to help prepare and serve meals at the Family Kitchen. All are welcome to come help. We volunteer every other month, on the 4th Saturday from 9 AM – 1 PM. Please RSVP to Kevin or Clare if you plan to attend so we have a hand count for the organizers.

🧘🏽Yoga with Shriman🧘🏼‍♂️

Every Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM

We are so fortunate to have such a well-versed yoga instructor as a member of our community. Through his teachings, Shriman empowers participants to embark on their unique paths toward physical, emotional, and mental well-being. His classes are an invitation to connect with your inner joy, embrace your true nature, and live in harmony with the world around you. There is no set cost but a suggested donation of $10 – $20 to be shared between Shriman and Unity is very much appreciated. All student levels are welcome and encouraged.

Let’s Get Metaphysical Discussion Group

No Meeting on July 29th – but We’ll Resume on August 5th – Every Tuesday from 10:30 AM to Noon

This group meets weekly and anyone is welcome at any time. Your hosts are Jim and Joanne Pasmore. There will be a video and topic discussed each week. Email Jim to receive a weekly email with the video link and topic. No prior registration required for this FREE group.

Sacred Sound Sundays

Sundays from 6:00 to 7:15 PM

Shriman will be leading this week. A space where stillness, breath, and sacred sound weave together to soothe your nervous system and open your heart. This is a beautiful, self-care experience. Wear comfy clothing, bring a mat, pillow, and blanket and soak in the sounds and vibrations of the crystal bowls, flute, and chimes. All are welcome. Cost for Unity members is on a sliding scale of $15 to $25.

Redmond Women’s Group

Monday, July 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM

Join host Sonya Massey at her home with other women from Redmond to discuss Unity talks from the past month and other topics of interest. A wonderful opportunity to connect with other like minded women in the Redmond area.

Interested in teaching a class, hosting an event or spirit group, or renting the Unity space this Fall?

We are currently working on creating our Fall schedule at Unity. If you have an idea for a class to teach, group to start, event or spirit group to host, or know someone interested in renting our space, please submit your request by the end of July.

Rafe Pearlman in Concert – Discount for Unity Members

He’s become so popular that he needs a larger venue than our Unity space so he’ll be performing with his band at the beautiful Tower Theater and he’s got a discount code for our Unity family.
