In nature, physics and interpersonal relationships.  Boundaries are the structure that make perception and reality possible. As fellow beings here, doing time in a body. This is a worthy subject to consider. William is such a gifted story teller and speaks from the heart. We hope you can join us!

Youth Programs

Little Ones – The nursery is open for little ones up to 4 years old.

Elementary aged kids – Crafts, games, and sharing 🌻

Teens – If you have a teen who would enjoy connecting with other teens in a safe space to have fun, be heard, and supported with compassion contact our teen group lead, Sarah Hood at 925-788-2504.

Breathwork and Sound Healing Journey with Eostar & Mathias

Friday, August 18th from 7:00 – 9:30 PM at Unity

Eostar and Mathias have played sacred acoustic music and sound healing music to audiences along the West Coast and South America for more than a decade both as devotional musicians and as sound healers. The type of breathwork Eostar will lead is an ancient pranayama called Vyana Vayu. It is a dynamic active meditation that will quickly take the participants to altered, higher states of consciousness. Participants will be encouraged to breathe dynamically using a certain technique that will be explained prior to starting. The breathwork experience will be gently followed by a return to physicality on the wings of sound healing instruments.

They taught this class last year and it was such an incredible experience. They are gifted instructors and musicians. We hope you can come. Cost is on a sliding scale of $15 to $30.

Poetry Open Mic with Donna

Saturday, August 19th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Unity

This is such a fun night and Donna is so passionate and supportive, you don’t want to miss this evening. Come share a poem you’ve written or one by a poet you love, or just listen and enjoy. This event is free, but love offerings are welcome.

Unity Youth Camp for Kids Ages 11-14 Years

Unity NW region has its next kids camp coming up. We heard from a couple of our younger children how much they loved theirs and are excited to return next year. If you have a child in this age range, or know someone who does, we hope you’ll sign up! The camp is in 2 weeks! Rev. Jane’s grandson is going so there’s a carpool potential.

Movie Night & Discussion – Ram Dass Fierce Grace

Wednesday, August 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Ram Dass Fierce Grace is an engrossing, poignant meditation on spirituality, consciousness, healing and the unexpected grace of aging.”  In it he shares with humor and compassion some profound insights about loss and grieving, how he dealt with his own stroke, and how he helped others deal with devastating losses. This event is free and all are welcome!

We’re Still Looking for a Caregiver for Our Nursery

Our wonderful nursery caregiver, Grace, is heading off to college and we don’t have a replacement. If you, or someone you know is interested in volunteering/working in the nursery please contact Clare Kubota ASAP.

Unity Gratitude Project

Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound! All are welcome, so invite your friends 😁🌈.

Open Singing Night – Cancelled This Week for Grace’s Birthday 🎂

Our music director, Dave, will be busy celebrating his daughter turning 18 this Wednesday. Open sing will resume next Wednesday at 7:00 PM. All are welcome.

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is Aug. 22nd.

Member Appreciation

This week we are celebrating member Christine Hart. Since becoming a member about 6 months ago Christine is a regular volunteer on the cleaning crew and as a greeter. She has such a heart for giving. When joining the cleaning crew she said “I have someone come clean my own house, but if Unity needs help with cleaning I’m happy to do that 😁”. Her smile, outgoing personality, and attention to detail are so appreciated as a greeter. I am especially grateful that she noticed the women’s bathroom soap was empty and took the time to figure out how to refill it! A task I have been hoping I wouldn’t not have to deal with since I can never figure out how to open that stupid soap dispenser 🤣. Thank you Christine for being such a giving member our community. We appreciate you!! 🕺🏻🌈🤗

Tumalo Park & Prema Mayi Concert – What a Beautiful Weekend!

What a great time we had this past weekend camping, picnicking, and floating the river at Tumalo State park! Thank you to all who joined us. Then on Saturday night we had guest musician Prema Mayi and her son bring such beautiful song and energy to our sanctuary. What a joy filled weekend!
