Sikhs and Druids and Christians Oh My! A Call to Unity and Conscience

Several of us recently attended the 2023 Parliament of World Religions. This incredibly diverse and colorful assembly demonstrated a multi-faith commitment to raising consciousness, spreading peace, and developing a worldview of healing and unity. Cylvia will share some stories from the event and how we all might harness these wild times to elevate conscience and consciousness in our lives and our world.

Youth Programs

Little Ones – The nursery is open for little ones up to 4 years old.

Elementary aged kids – Crafts, games, and sharing 🌻

A Course in Miracles Study Group

Wednesday, August 23rd at 5:30pm with Rev. Cylvia Hayes

This is a gathering to discuss the wisdom in A Course in Miracles. Each session will include a talk on a key Course teaching and then open Q and A and discussion. This week we’ll be discussing what the Course in Miracles has to say about idols, illusions, and false interests. This will build upon the concepts of “The World” as illusion and the “Real World”, like the “Kingdom of Heaven” being a state of consciousness. Our conversation will cover the mind-blowing, shift your whole worldview aspects of these topics as well as on-the-ground, everyday ways of harnessing these teachings in our lives right here and right now.

Perfect for people with a lot of experience with the Course and those who are just starting out or curious. Open to non-Unity members and free, but love offerings are appreciated to support Unity and Cylvia’s time.

Movie Night & Discussion at Unity – Ram Dass Fierce Grace

Wednesday, August 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Ram Dass Fierce Grace is an engrossing, poignant meditation on spirituality, consciousness, healing and the unexpected grace of aging.”  In it he shares with humor and compassion some profound insights about loss and grieving, how he dealt with his own stroke, and how he helped others deal with devastating losses. This event is free and all are welcome!

Mystical Teachings of Jesus w/ Rev. Jane

Beginning Thursday Sept. 7th at 5:00 PM – 5 week class on Zoom

Jesus was a mystic. His teachings were designed to lead us into a state of higher consciousness and the ability to create the life we dream. In this experiential class, you will learn his 12 mystical teachings and begin to incorporate them into your life. Additionally we will explore what we know about the historical Jesus, his teaching methods, and his relevance today. Cost – $75

What Do a Bookkeeper, Green Thumb, & Toddler Lover Have in Common?

Her board commitment will be over next January and she’d also like to pass on her bookkeeper role as well. • Plant Care & Plants – You may have noticed that our indoor plants are looking a bit sad, which makes us sad. Do you have a green thumb and/or plants to donate to our sanctuary space? Sunday Sound Bath

Sunday at 6:30 PM at Unity

Led by Lisa Swisher and friends. At the beginning of class, you will be asked to quietly set intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to allow into your life. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket (if needed), and a desire to be uplifted and transported through sacred sound! All are welcome, so invite your friends 😁🌈.

Men’s Group

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:00 PM at Unity

A spiritual discussion and service group of men who are seeking spiritual connection and greater consciousness. Our men’s group is very friendly and welcomes all. Next meeting is Sept. 18th (no meeting on Sept. 4th since it’s Labor Day).

Don’t Throw Those Returnable Bottles and Cans in Your Recycling Can!

Did you know that Unity has a Bottle Drop account? Ask one of our Sunday service greeters for a blue Bottle Drop bag with the Unity bar code on it. Once filled take the bag to the Bend or Redmond Bottle Drop, scan the bar code at the outside door, and put your bag inside the door. All proceeds will go directly into our Unity account.
