Sunday Service: August 31st at 10:00 AM
What Brings You Joy?
with Carol Fox
Joy is what we feel when we are in alignment with Source, with our Purpose in life. Some people might call this “doing God’s will.” But how do we know what we are meant to be doing? How do we get a clear and direct message from Source when there are so many distractions, both internal and external, getting in our way? This Sunday I’m going to talk about my journey, and the people, experiences, and guidance that have helped me connect with Source and find joy!
🍽️ Bring a favorite snack to share with the community after service! We’ll provide the coffee and tea ☕️.
We always have a beautiful potluck of munchies to enjoy after service, so we hope you have time to stay, connect, and enjoy some coffee and snacks.
🌈 Childcare and activities are available for children 0 through 12 years.
This month’s topic is HEALTH!
⭐️ Note to parents – Summer is here, so be sure your kiddos bring a water bottle filled with something cool to drink.

NEW OFFERING – Sunday Talkabout – after service
We have started a new offering every Sunday, following our Celebration Service! It’s called Talkabout, and it is an opportunity for us to gather together in small groups and talk about the talk we just heard! The circle will be facilitated by one of our community leaders and this is your chance to share your thoughts and feelings and to form deeper connections with fellow community members. Our Sunday speaker will generally participate as well, so that you can ask them more questions about their talk, or share what resonated with you.
Here are the details: It starts 20 minutes after the service ends, so you’ll have time to grab some food in the lobby, and the Talkabout circle will last 30 to 45 minutes.

Understanding Our Neighbor as Ourselves: Intro to Spiral Dynamics
Tuesday, September 2nd and 9th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with Dr. Rev. Cari Bourette – in person and on Zoom.
Why are some so certain God is a Being in the sky and others know a Divine Presence found within? Why do some seem so violent and exclusionist and others so concerned with including everyone? There are different sets of values that accompany each level of consciousness on our evolutionary journey. This introductory class on Spiral Dynamics will assist you in understanding these differences and help you to better empathize and communicate with people that have another perspective on what’s important than what’s so obviously true for you. Cost for Unity members is just $45, non-members $75.
Town Hall Potluck and Gathering
Wednesday, September 10th at 5:30 PM
It’s time for our quarterly Town Hall. We’re inviting everyone in our community, members and those interested in membership, to bring a food item to share for a dinner social from 5:30 to 6 PM in the foyer. We’ll then move to the sanctuary where our board will share updates on our ministerial search, a new service coming on Wednesday evenings, how we’re doing financially, updates on our team structure, and more. We’ll then finish up with some Q&A time. We are a member powered community and we hope you’ll make the time to join us on Sept. 10th 😊.
