TONIGHT – Town Hall Potluck and Gathering

Wednesday, September 10th at 5:30 PM

It’s time for our quarterly Town Hall. We’re inviting everyone in our community, members and those interested in membership, to bring a food item to share for a dinner social from 5:30 to 6 PM in the foyer. We’ll then move to the sanctuary where our board will share updates on our ministerial search, a new service coming on Wednesday evenings, how we’re doing financially, updates on our team structure, and more. We’ll then finish up with some Q&A time. We are a member powered community and we hope you’ll make the time to join us tonight 😊.

Group Hike to Benham Falls

Saturday, September 13th at 9:00 AM

The trail is a level, easy walking trail, 1.7 miles to the falls, 1.7 miles back to the parking lot. All ages and fitness levels welcome. See details on carpooling and meeting locations on our website.

Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui – Spirit Group

6 weeks starting September 21st from 12:30 to 2 PM with Carol Fox and Pamela Matthews

Are you ready to take action? This group will read and discuss “Clear your Clutter with Feng Shui,” by Karen Kingston, and together we will use these principles to take action and support each other to create space in our lives for the things we want to achieve. Spirit groups are free and open to up to 8 participants.

Call for Volunteers – Greeters, Kitchen, & Cleaning Teams

We are in need of several volunteers right now. We are looking for 3 for the Kitchen Team, 2 for the Greeters Team and 1 for our Cleaning Team. If you may be able to help either temporarily or long term please reach out to me, Clare Kubota, and I can get you all the details so you can see if it’s a good fit for you. Harvest Share Table is Up and Running!

A table is now set up on the eastside of the building for all you home gardeners to share your abundance through contributing and receiving to practice the flow of reciprocity. Please bring any extra fruits or vegetables of your labor for exchange anytime during these dates and leave your items on the table and take any produce you’d like. Do You Need to Make a Trip to Portland?

We have a special guest speaker needing a ride from PDX to Bend on Saturday, October 4th

Guest speaker and performer, Ester Nicholson will be arriving at PDX the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 4th and she’d really appreciate a ride to Bend that same day so she can do our Sunday morning talk and music on the 5th. If you happen to be doing a trip to Portland and are able to give her a ride please let Clare Kubota know.

Declutter Your Mind for more clarity and aliveness – Workshop

Wednesday, September 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM or 5:30 to 7:30 PM with Elaine Cornick

This workshop, facilitated by Elaine Cornick, uses a bio-energetic technology called PSYCH-K® https://psych-k.com/ for changing beliefs that no longer serve you. It lets you simply, directly, and effectively change those beliefs AT THE SUBCONSCIOUS LEVEL of your mind. The results can be subtle or dramatic. Cost is on a sliding scale. Community Merchandise Design Campaign

Our community is full of fantastic talent, and now’s your chance to shine! We’re launching a design campaign for new merchandise – shirts, mugs, keychains, and more. Selected designs will be featured on items everyone can proudly wear to celebrate our community. Everyone is welcome to enter—let’s bring our best ideas to life! Last month’s topic of creativity encouraged us to step into our happy space. Share your happiness with us. Submit your designs by October 5th. Come to the Town Hall for more information.

Call for Team Members – We’re looking for caring community members to join a small team to help review submissions, select designs, choose suppliers, and coordinate distribution. The team will meet weekly for four weeks to ensure the project’s success.If you’d like to help, we’d love to have you on board!

We’d get Unity t-shirts created for everyone to wear and do the walk in support of Parkinson’s Resources, a non-profit that provides needed resources to those with Parkinson’s at no cost to them. Member Appreciation

We have a thriving Redmond Women’s Group because member Sonya Massey had the beautiful idea to start it. She is not able to come regularly to Sunday service, so watches online most of the time, but she still wanted to discuss the talks and connect with other women in our community. She offered to open her home and host a monthly gathering to make this happen. Obviously there are several other women in our community who live in Redmond who desired the same thing because she has a full house the 4th Monday of every month 😊. Sonya, thank you for your work to make this group a success and be in community. We appreciate you!!
